Please Note

Your flowers will arrive looking thirsty and sleepy. This is absolutely NORMAL. Please see our Flower Care tab on this page to learn how to properly care for and handle your flowers.

As flowers are a natural product of Mother Nature and monitor resolutions can differ, the exact color tones of this flower may vary to some degree.

Package contents and prices are based on availability and may change due to weather and market conditions. If a substitution is necessary, we take great care to ensure your order closely matches your original flower choice, even if this means substituting flowers of higher value. While we will make every effort to contact you, there may be rare instances where we are unable to reach you in time. In such cases, we may proceed with substitutions to ensure your order ships on schedule, even without prior verbal confirmation.

Caring for Your Pods

Greenery is shipped fresh directly from our farms to your doorstep. If your greens appear sleepy or thirsty after their journey, this is completely normal. Follow the steps below to help them rehydrate and stay fresh.

Greenery Care Steps – From Arrival to Use

Step 1: Unpack and Inspect

  • Unpack Promptly: Open your boxes as soon as they arrive and remove any straps or outer packaging such as foam or paper.

  • Inspect Your Greens: Look over your greenery for any concerns before continuing with processing.

Step 2: Prepare the Containers

  • Use Clean Buckets: Choose buckets or containers that are clean and free from soap residue or bacteria. Rinse with warm water if needed.

  • Add Water: Fill each container with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water. If flower food is available, follow the packet directions and mix it in.

Step 3: Trim and Place in Water

  • Remove Packaging: Take off any rubber bands or plastic sleeves protecting the greens.

  • Remove Foliage Below the Waterline: Strip any leaves that will fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.

  • Trim the Stems: Use clean, sharp floral shears or scissors to cut about 1 inch off each stem at a diagonal under cool running water. Avoid using household scissors, which can crush the stems and limit water absorption.

  • Place Immediately: After trimming, place the stems directly into the prepared water.

Step 4: Hydrate and Maintain

  • Hydration Time: Allow your greenery to hydrate for at least 4 hours — 8 to 12 hours is ideal.

  • Monitor Water Levels: Greens drink heavily when they first arrive, so check water levels frequently and refill as needed.

  • Avoid Overcrowding: Ensure each container has enough space for the amount of greenery you're processing. Overcrowding can lead to damaged stems and leaves.

  • Storage Conditions: Store hydrated greenery in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, heat, or drafts until you're ready to use it.

Step 5: Refresh and Use

  • Change Water Daily: Refresh the water every 24 hours to keep your greens fresh and bacteria-free until use.

Additional Information: Strongly recommend FF!
Perfect combo: feverfew, buplurerum, scabiosa

Working with FF was an amazing experience. The customer service is top notch. Someone personally reached out to me by both text and email when I made an adjustment to my order, to assure that we were on the same page and that my order would come in correctly. Out of the several bunches that I ordered (I ordered quite a few, probably 20 bunches,) only one bunch came in wilted and could not be revived. I ordered the flowers to arrive on a Wednesday for a Saturday event, and they were all perfect for Saturday. A strong suggestion that worked great for us: We had 140 vases and made 140 bouquets, secured each with a rubber band and literally soaked them (and transported) in water filled buckets. Plopped them in the vases on the day of the event--easy and simple for transport. We transported the vases in huge bags, not boxes, so that everything could fit in the SUV (or trunk of a car.) Since I am not a professional, and likely you are not either, don't overlook the transportation piece--this was a destination event (I'm from Detroit, the event was in New Orleans), make sure that you organize every detail on how, who will help, and where you do the arranging. FYI. I was nervous that I didn't order enough (I ended up with PLENTY, more than enough), so at the last minute I ordered some extra flowers from Costco to be delivered. I had to throw most of them out because not only did they come in scrunched up, several were moldy. Just rely on FF to help you estimate how many flowers/bunches that you need--you can trust their expertise, their estimate was spot on.

I called these the alien pods. They really are so unique and interesting looking. They helped add personality/individuality to our arrangements and were very easy to work with
