Wholesale Prices | Delivered Fresh

Peach Fresh Roses are an enticing treat. Velvety petals, slender and delicate, curl over one another within the bloom. Package contents and prices are based on availability and may change due to weather and market conditions. If a substitution is necessary, we take great care to ensure your order closely matches your original flower choice, even if this means substituting flowers of higher value. In such cases, we may proceed with substitutions to ensure your order ships on schedule, even without prior verbal confirmation.

Caring for Your Roses

Our flowers are shipped fresh directly from our farms to your doorstep. When you first open the box, your flowers might appear "sleepy" or "thirsty," which is completely normal. These flowers have just completed an international journey and need water. Following the important care and preparation steps below will help rehydrate them and ensure they last as long as possible.

Flower Care Steps – From Arrival to Arrangement

Step 1: Unpack and Inspect

  • Unpack and Inspect: Cut any straps to remove flowers from the box, but leave their protective packaging on for the first 4 hours of hydration. As you unpack, check your blooms for any visible concerns.

  • Process Immediately: Begin the steps below immediately upon opening the box to ensure your flowers rehydrate and recover from their journey. Again, don’t worry if they appear sleepy or thirsty—they will perk up beautifully with proper care.

Step 2: Prepare the Containers

  • Choose Clean Buckets or Vases: Ensure your containers are clean and sanitized to remove soap residue, bacteria, and dirt, which can shorten flower life.

  • Fill Containers: Add at least 4 inches of cool, fresh water, and mix in flower food if available.

Step 3: Trim and Place in Water

  • Remove Foliage Below the Waterline: Strip leaves that will fall below the waterline to prevent mold or bacteria growth.

  • Cut Stems Correctly: Use clean, sharp floral shears to cut stems diagonally about 1 inch from the bottom. Avoid household scissors, as they pinch the stems and block water absorption.

  • Place and Space: Place the freshly cut stems into the prepared water immediately, ensuring enough space in each container to allow the flowers to bloom properly.

Step 4: Hydrate and Maintain

  • Hydration Time: After the initial 4-hour hydration period, remove protective packaging, strip additional leaves and thorns (if applicable), and remove guard petals (outer layers that may look bruised or brown).

  • Re-cut and Space: Give your flowers another fresh cut and place them in your prepared buckets. You may need to spread your stems out into more buckets to give them even more room to bloom. It is important not to overcrowd your buckets. Allow your flowers to continue to hydrate for another 8 hours before beginning the design process.

  • Store in a Cool Place: Keep flowers in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat. Avoid placing them in a refrigerator, as this can harm flowers.

  • Monitor Water Levels: Flowers drink heavily upon arrival, so check frequently to ensure all stems are always submerged. If the water drops below the stems, refill immediately and recut them before placing them back in the container.

Step 5: Time to Design

  • Ready to Arrange: After completing the hydration and processing steps above, your flowers are now ready for design.

  • Recut and Maintain: As you design, make sure to recut the stems and maintain water levels.

  • Refresh Regularly: Change water daily and recut stems every 24-48 hours to keep flowers fresh.

Tips from Our Experts

  • Always keep flower buds above the bucket or vase rim to prevent your blooms from bruising.

  • Warm environments speed up blooming, while cooler areas slow it down. Adjust storage as needed, but always avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat.

  • Use a floral finishing spray after arranging blooms to help them last longer.

Precautions

  • Thorns: Flowers with thorns require extra care. Wear gloves when handling them, and consider using a thorn stripping tool for added ease and safety.

A Love as Strong as the Heat!

While planning an outdoor wedding in early June, I knew that it would be a bit warm in the late afternoon but I had no idea exactly how hot it would get. A few days before the wedding, the forecast showed it would be the hottest day of the year yet - a sticky 95 degrees with a little breeze. When the flowers came, we were quick to get them in water, and boy did they drink! In a couple days, they perked up and were looking healthy and vibrant!

The day of the wedding, they were still looking great but the heat evaporated a lot of the water away. But just looking at them, you would never have noticed except for a little drooping of the tips of the sunflower petals! These were some hardy flowers!

We were able to save so much money by having FiftyFlowers provide the flowers! Not only did we save a pretty penny (or several thousand pretty pennies), but we didn't have to sacrifice any beauty or decorations of having a professional florist. If you're not afraid of doing a little bit of fun-work making bouquets and centerpieces, I would highly recommend doing it yourself with FiftyFlowers flowers!

Amazing Flowers for my May wedding!

Everyone thought I was crazy for doing my own flowers. But, they turned out gorgeous. I made a spreadsheet with all the things we needed so I didn't short myself. We had 20+ centerpieces plus the head table, a dozen cake flowers, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, 5 mini bouquets for flower girls, 10 boutonnieres, 8 pew markers, church flowers, flowers above the mantle, etc. Lots. The flowers were packaged way better than I expected and I just followed the care directions. We put everything together the day before and were delivering them to the church and reception venue at 10:00 at night. That being said, they were gorgeous. My favorite flower by far was the cabbage garden rose antique pink. They were SO pretty with all the petals and their color was just stunning. I used mainly those and peonies in my bouquet. I did get some wax flower and more dusty miller from my local flower shop because I love wax flower. We ended up running out of filler flower and had to go to my parents' backyard and get some. No big deal. :) It was fun for the bridal party to help the day before. We drank champagne, listened to music, and arranged flowers. It was really a great time...and we were proud of the flowers.

Beautiful Wedding Bouquets!

I opted for candles as my centerpieces, and decided to make my own bouquets. These blue roses went perfectly with my color theme. They were a great price, and absolutely wonderful quality, delivered 3 days before my wedding, as I had ordered. They were easy to make bouquets out of. They looked wonderful without any filler flowers. I couldn't have had a better bouquet!
