The lovely ladies over at Style Me Pretty sure know how to throw a party, and lucky for us, they are going to show us how just in time for Valentine's Day. This pink Valentine's Day Party is the perfect inspiration for February get-togethers, bridal showers, birthday parties, or just because!
They said this about the theme of their fab soiree, "We wanted to capture the sweetness of such a holiday with the luxury of throwing a little party at home with those you love. So we wanted pure opulence paired with whimsy. We wanted casual sitting pretty next to all-out fancy pants."
We sent them an array of pretty pink blooms to use for the shoot, including, Rose Quartz Fringed Tulips, Pink Ohara Garden Roses, Powder Pink Garden Roses, Seashell Beach Garden Roses, Blush Pink Garden Roses, Bridal Piano Peony Roses, Antique Pale Pink Spray Roses, and Seeded Eucalyptus.
How to Throw the Perfect Valentine's Day Party
Are you feeling inspired by this pretty pink styled shoot? Here are some tips and tricks for planning the Valentine's Day party of your dreams:
1.) Provide tasty treats
Food and drink are vital elements to any successful get-together. The ladies at Style Me Pretty did a great job whipping up an array of on-theme desserts with pink frosting, heart-shaped cookies, and, of course, LOTS of chocolate. We highly recommend trying out some of their recipes. Champagne, Rosé, or Valentine-themed cocktails would add a touch of glam to your event. Sparkling cider or pink lemonade would have the same effect. Overall, choose treats and drinks that you know your guests will love.
2.) Decorate with romantic blooms
When you think of Valentine's Day, you probably think of flowers. A Valentine's Day soiree would only be complete with romantic floral details! They embellished the tables with pink roses and eucalyptus for this styled shoot. Here are some flowers to consider when planning your own Valentine's Day Party:

3.) Focus on the details
Set the tone for your soiree with some romantic invitations. Think of lots of ribbons, cursive, and hearts. With the right stationery, you can get your guests excited about your party long before they even arrive. Planning an elegant affair is all about the details, so you'll also want to consider what serving platters, dishes, pillows, candles, frames, and other decorations to incorporate. This styled shoot was all about gold accents, but your Valentine's Day party could feature pops of red, silver, black, white, or any other color your heart desires.
4.) Provide the full experience
Every host wants their guests to have a fantastic experience. When planning your event, think about what will make your guests feel most at home and cared for. This could mean playing the perfect playlist of songs or giving out thoughtful party favors. Adding fun and creative elements will also leave an impression on your guests. Hello, champagne towers and photo booths! Looking for the perfect activity to try? A flower class is a great way to give your guests a fun experience and a unique party favor.
