Blush Pink and Monochromatic White Flowers!

My Pinterest vision for my flowers was to have lots of voluminous flowers of mostly white and pink...well that vision priced out with florists was thousands of dollars. NOPE. I started researching wholesale flowers and found Fifty Flowers! As soon as I told my friends and family, while supportive, they thought I was crazy for trying to DIY this...but once I set my mind to something, there's no stopping me! The customer service and floral designers at Fifty Flowers are incredible! I called and talked with a floral designer who took a look at my centerpiece vases and what flowers I was thinking of and created the spreadsheet that told me how many of each flower goes in each arrangement. She even offered tips on what other flowers are cost-effective and would go well with my design. I cannot stress how important it is to call and walk through your vision and plan with Fifty Flowers. They will steer you in the right direction and make sure you have the right type and right amount of flowers you need to make your vision come to life. The next most important thing is to not do this by yourself. We had around 550 flowers and it took my Mom and I around 4 hours to unpack, cut, and get the flowers in water for hydration. No lies- it was exhausting and my hands hurt afterwards from all the stem cutting. I had 6 people helping me put the arrangements together the day before the wedding and it went very smoothly. Make sure you have a few extras because some will break while trying to make large bouquets. My last tip is to make sure your vision isn't too extravagant in terms of structure. Our large altar arrangements were beautiful, but they weren't exactly structurally sound and we had a few broken vases because of how top heavy they were. Fifty Flowers was my #1 money saving find and I would do this all over again in a heartbeat. Excellent quality, excellent customer service, and a very, very happy Bride!!!
