Package contents and prices are based on availability and may change due to weather and market conditions. If a substitution is necessary, we take great care to ensure your order closely matches your original flower choice, even if this means substituting flowers of higher value. While we will make every effort to contact you, there may be rare instances where we are unable to reach you in time. In such cases, we may proceed with substitutions to ensure your order ships on schedule, even without prior verbal confirmation.
Caring for Your Boutonnieres & Corsages
Boutonnieres and corsages are shipped directly from our farms to your doorstep. Before shipping, we hydrate and prepare them for their journey. If your flowers appear "sleepy" or "thirsty" upon arrival, this is completely normal. Follow the steps below to keep them fresh and wearable for your event.
Care Steps – From Arrival to Wear
Step 1: Unpack and Inspect
Open the box and remove any protective packaging such as foam or straps.
Inspect each piece carefully for damage or wilted blooms.
Step 2: Check for Water Tubes
If your flowers arrived with water tubes:
Gently hold the water tube in one hand and pull back the soft plastic top (do not remove the flowers from the cap).
Remove the cotton wrap around the stems.
Fill the tube with clean, cool water and reseal it around the flower stems.
Do not push, pull, or apply pressure to the flowers when handling.
If your flowers did not arrive with water tubes:
Skip Step 2 and proceed directly to refrigeration (Step 3). There is no need to cut stems or place them in water.
Step 3: Refrigerate
Place the boutonnieres or corsages in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Keep them away from fruits and vegetables, which release gases that can damage flowers.
Ensure the refrigerator stays above 40°F — freezing temps can ruin the blooms.
Step 4: Prepare to Wear
When you're ready to use them, remove the flowers from the water tube.
Cut stems to the desired length, if needed.
If the ribbon or green florist tape is damp from the water tube, dry it fully before wearing.
Once dry, the boutonniere or corsage is ready to be pinned or wrapped.
Tips From Our Experts
