Green Kiss Alba Rose

Wholesale Prices | Delivered Fresh

Order bulk roses at FiftyFlowers.com. Alba is an ivory rose with hints of cream towards the center, and pale green guard petals that give it a green kissed look. This rose would look great with our true white garden roses and green hydrangeas.

Package contents and prices are based on availability and may change due to weather and market conditions. If a substitution is necessary, we take great care to ensure your order closely matches your original flower choice, even if this means substituting flowers of higher value. In such cases, we may proceed with substitutions to ensure your order ships on schedule, even without prior verbal confirmation.

Caring for Your Roses

Our flowers are shipped fresh directly from our farms to your doorstep. When you first open the box, your flowers might appear "sleepy" or "thirsty," which is completely normal. These flowers have just completed an international journey and need water. Following the important care and preparation steps below will help rehydrate them and ensure they last as long as possible.

Flower Care Steps – From Arrival to Arrangement

Step 1: Unpack and Inspect

  • Unpack and Inspect: Cut any straps to remove flowers from the box, but leave their protective packaging on for the first 4 hours of hydration. As you unpack, check your blooms for any visible concerns.

  • Process Immediately: Begin the steps below immediately upon opening the box to ensure your flowers rehydrate and recover from their journey. Again, don’t worry if they appear sleepy or thirsty—they will perk up beautifully with proper care.

Step 2: Prepare the Containers

  • Choose Clean Buckets or Vases: Ensure your containers are clean and sanitized to remove soap residue, bacteria, and dirt, which can shorten flower life.

  • Fill Containers: Add at least 4 inches of cool, fresh water, and mix in flower food if available.

Step 3: Trim and Place in Water

  • Remove Foliage Below the Waterline: Strip leaves that will fall below the waterline to prevent mold or bacteria growth.

  • Cut Stems Correctly: Use clean, sharp floral shears to cut stems diagonally about 1 inch from the bottom. Avoid household scissors, as they pinch the stems and block water absorption.

  • Place and Space: Place the freshly cut stems into the prepared water immediately, ensuring enough space in each container to allow the flowers to bloom properly.

Step 4: Hydrate and Maintain

  • Hydration Time: After the initial 4-hour hydration period, remove protective packaging, strip additional leaves and thorns (if applicable), and remove guard petals (outer layers that may look bruised or brown).

  • Re-cut and Space: Give your flowers another fresh cut and place them in your prepared buckets. You may need to spread your stems out into more buckets to give them even more room to bloom. It is important not to overcrowd your buckets. Allow your flowers to continue to hydrate for another 8 hours before beginning the design process.

  • Store in a Cool Place: Keep flowers in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat. Avoid placing them in a refrigerator, as this can harm flowers.

  • Monitor Water Levels: Flowers drink heavily upon arrival, so check frequently to ensure all stems are always submerged. If the water drops below the stems, refill immediately and recut them before placing them back in the container.

Step 5: Time to Design

  • Ready to Arrange: After completing the hydration and processing steps above, your flowers are now ready for design.

  • Recut and Maintain: As you design, make sure to recut the stems and maintain water levels.

  • Refresh Regularly: Change water daily and recut stems every 24-48 hours to keep flowers fresh.

Tips from Our Experts

  • Always keep flower buds above the bucket or vase rim to prevent your blooms from bruising.

  • Warm environments speed up blooming, while cooler areas slow it down. Adjust storage as needed, but always avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat.

  • Use a floral finishing spray after arranging blooms to help them last longer.

Precautions

  • Thorns: Flowers with thorns require extra care. Wear gloves when handling them, and consider using a thorn stripping tool for added ease and safety.

These delicate roses were very interesting and beautiful. They did very well throughout the hot summer wedding. We used them as accents in our bouquets and centerpieces and they looked lovely.

Boho Outdoor Georgia Wedding

My husband and I planned a "destination wedding" on an island a few hours from our home last April and it was the best day of my life. We had a very small budget & I decided to do my own flowers (which I had no experience with) but I watched a ton of videos & read all kind of stories on here to help me. Even though our budget was small, flowers were one of the things I did not want to miss out on. I ordered my flowers & also had to have them delivered several hours before we arrived to our airbnb on the island. The temperature was in the high 70s and I was worried they would be damaged but when I arrived, I took them out of the box and put them directly into some 10 gallon paint buckets to give them breathing room. I used about 7 buckets & probably could have stood to have another 1 or 2 for reference! I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified when I saw the flowers, they looked dead...wilted & hanging, I was freaked out but I prayed about it & when I woke up the next morning they were blossomed and beautiful!! My mother, MIL & bridesmaids all took a few hours that evening after the rehearsal pulling the bouquets together & it was honestly so much fun. They each made different bouquets of greenery for themselves, we made the boutonnieres and then started working on my bouquet. The next morning the flowers looked even more beautiful and the garden roses had bloomed even more to make them even bigger. I wanted something relaxed, bohemian, wild and beautiful and it was exactly what I imagined. I used the extra flowers in random vases on the tables and used all of the mixed greenery to make garlands for each table. I honestly felt so beautiful with my bouquet, it fit my personality to a T and I can't imagine how I would have felt without it. I thought I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get the bouquet of my dreams but instead I spend about $600 total on my entire wedding florals/greenery and could not have been happier. I got soooo many compliments on the bouquets and people have actually reached out to me to see who created them. There was something special about taking that night to spend with the women in my life that mean the most and creating the flowers for my wedding. Needless to say, GO WITH FIFTYFLOWERS. I never leave reviews because I never stop to take the time to do it but I had to share my story with fiftyflowers. I'm the type of person who overthinks everything but if I can help any bride out there on a budget or even someone who is wanting to create their own floral arrangements for their big day, I can't recommend fiftyflowers enough. Not only were they beautiful but their customer service was outstanding. I would use them again if I could do it all over again. My wedding was everything I dreamed of thanks to them. Cheers!

Great customer service!

These flowers were beautiful, I got a lot of compliments on them! And Fifty Flowers was great to deal with. They called and gave me some tips after I placed the order and then they sent an email once the flowers shipped and they emailed, texted, and called me after the flowers were delivered to make sure I had received them and that they were ok and again gave me tips for caring for them until the wedding.
