Ever since taking a flower arrangement class in college, I have wanted to do my own wedding flowers. With the help of family, we processed all shipped flowers on Wednesday before the wedding, then arranged all day Friday. Our process for Friday: we prepped all square centerpiece vases with a grid of waterproof floral tape. I created a sample centerpiece for a baseline. Each pair of helpers were assigned a flower type (we also ordered white hydrangeas, white button mums, and ivory/white roses from Global Rose) and they knew how many blooms to put in each vase based on our spreadsheet. I supervised and adjusted as needed. Others worked on the large alter vases. I created all 5 bouquets (the most photographed and most important to get right!). After all main arrangements were complete, helpers gathered leftovers into tiny bundles for the aisle. All this took around 5 hours. After the rehearsal and dinner, I returned with fewer helpers to create corsages and boutonnieres. It is best to leave these until very last, or even day of, since they are out of the water. I absolutely would do this over again. The flowers from Fifty Flowers were as described on the website, beautiful and high quality.

Our wedding was held at the beautiful rustic barn, La Ferme Rouge in Patton, PA on May 6, 2017. Jason Stevens and I, Amie (Davis) Stevens, grew up in the same small town never meeting until one rainy night 3 and a half years ago in none other than our local dive bar. Jason says it was meant to rain on our wedding day (and it did) because it was raining the night he first saw me. Our wedding theme was rustic with pastel colors. As the dresses were a variety of colors, I decided to use a white flower mix for the bridesmaids bouquets and my favorite flower, pink peonies for the bride's bouquet. Then I wanted to brighten up the venue with flowers so I chose bright pinks and purples for the tables and decore. Everyone told us that our wedding was so beautiful and of the funnest wedding they had been to. For us, that is a success! Despite the rain and cold, and last minute change to have the ceremony inside, our wedding was beyond perfect and I am so thankful for the memories made with our loved ones that day.

Family and friends joined the couple for a wedding ceremony on the shore of Biscayne Bay. We then traveled to the bride's childhood home for brunch courtesy of Yardbird, the couple's favorite South Beach restaurant. That evening, we danced late into the night on the Bocce Ball Piazza at Miami Ironside in Miami's Upper Eastside. From the bride's bouquet to brunch centerpieces to accents among the palms, Fifty Flowers' Calla Lilies helped create an elegant, outdoor wedding ceremony and celebration on a stunning winter day in Miami.

I was very nervous about ordering my flowers online, but I went for it and it could not have turned out any better! I spent less money, and got exactly what I wanted. The flowers arrived, and I immediately received a phone call from a consultant to make sure everything was correct. The flowers did look a little sleepy at first, but after I trimmed the stem and put them in water, they came right back to life and the blooms were just beautiful! We used the 350 hot pink roses and 12,000 rose petals to make gorgeous centerpieces and boutineers, and we also used the petals to line the aisle. We took the 50 lilac roses and made groomsmen boutineers and bouquets for the bridesmaids. The 40 dark pink callas were used for my bouquet. The flowers were breathtaking and we got so many compliments from our guest. Thank you, Fifty Flowers, for making my day so beautiful!

The orchids arrived early in the morning on the date of delivery. The color was absolutely amazing and all of the orchids were in great condition. My centerpieces came out perfect.
