Burgundy Red Peony Flowers for June Delivery

Wholesale Prices | Delivered Fresh

Add a sassy touch to arrangements with Burgundy Red Peony Flowers. Peonies arrive in tight ball-like buds, but quickly start to unfurl into stunning, cloud-shaped blooms. They are densely packed with ruffled petals, which have a blend of red, wine, and burgundy hues. This is perfect for adding contrast to boho-inspired arrangements. Pair with blooms like garden roses cream white blush, cumbia peach roses, solidago flowers yellow, and thistle blue flowers.

Additional Information

Peonies have foliage that isn't meant for arranging; strip off the dry, spotty leaves before working with these beautiful flowers.
Peonies will arrive in various stages of bloom, from tight golf ball buds to fully open flowers, and require special care. Please see the Flower Care tab on this page for full care instructions.

Please Note

Your flowers will arrive looking thirsty and sleepy. This is absolutely NORMAL. Please see our Flower Care tab on this page to learn how to properly care for and handle your flowers.

As flowers are a natural product of Mother Nature and monitor resolutions can differ, the exact color tones of this flower may vary to some degree.

Package contents and prices are based on availability and may change due to weather and market conditions. If a substitution is necessary, we take great care to ensure your order closely matches your original flower choice, even if this means substituting flowers of higher value. While we will make every effort to contact you, there may be rare instances where we are unable to reach you in time. In such cases, we may proceed with substitutions to ensure your order ships on schedule, even without prior verbal confirmation.

Caring for Your Peonies

Peonies require individualized care. These beautiful blooms will arrive in a range of stages — from tight, golf ball-like buds to blooms that are beginning to open. This natural variation is typical of how peonies ship. Follow the care steps below based on how your peonies arrive to get them event-ready.

Flower Care Steps – From Arrival to Arrangement

If Your Peonies Arrive in Tight, Closed Buds:

  • Prepare clean containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water.

  • Remove all packaging and bands, and strip the stems of excessive leaves to eliminate bacteria buildup.

  • Using clean, sharp floral shears, cut 2 to 3 inches off each stem under cool running water and place immediately in the prepared water.

  • Store the peonies in a cool, dark room and refresh the water every 24 hours.

If Your Peonies Arrive Already Opening:

  • Do not process the flowers immediately.

  • Lay the peonies gently on their side in a floral cooler or refrigerator free of fruits and vegetables (which release ethylene gas that can damage flowers).

  • The morning prior to your event:

    • Prepare containers with fresh, cool water.

    • Remove all packaging and bands, and strip the stems of excessive leaves to eliminate bacteria buildup.

    • Cut 2 to 3 inches off each stem under cool running water and place immediately in the prepared water.

    • Store in a cool, dark room until ready to use.

The pops of color from the peonies and fullness of the blooms were a wonderful contrast to the burgundy and ivory garden roses. These flowers were centerpieces on the sweetheart table and caught the eye of all of my guests.

These were AMAZING! After they bloomed they were huge and beautiful. They started to lose petals quickly but we still got the majority of the wedding day with all full flowers tho!

These peonies were gorgeous. They were huge, they bloomed magnificently and overall were my favorite flower in my bouquet.

Last Minute Addition

I ordered these peach english roses at the last minute to supplement my first order of tuberose and mostly white centerpiece flowers when i found out the peach roses i originally ordered weren't available. It was a little annoying to find that out, but to be fair, fifty flowers warned me in advance that it could happen, and i was actually glad i had the excuse to upgrade to these stunning english roses. I ordered more flowers than i budgeted but it was totally 100% worth it - i was happier with my flowers than with my wedding dress, frankly! :) And I highly recommend fifty flowers. My bridesmaid found it and I was nervous, but I they were totally professional and in constant communication on the status of my order. it is a lot of work to do your own flowers; it works best if you have a cool, dark garage or spare room you can store them in - i had so many flowers they wouldn't fit in my closet, so we blanketed a table - but you know they will look exactly as you want, you can pick your favorites a la carte (it is hard to get tuberose!), and they arrive several days in advance so you don't have to worry at the last minute that they won't show up. very happy with the whole experience overall.
