Wedding Collection Care Instructions
Your Wedding Collection flowers are shipped directly from our farms to your doorstep. Before shipping, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. A printed Care Instructions card is included with your order. Please follow the care steps below according to the types of flowers included in your selected package.
For Pre-Arranged Items
(Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Corsages, Centerpieces, Crown, Cake Flowers, Aisle Markers)
Step 1: Unpack and Inspect
Bring flowers indoors immediately upon delivery.
Cut and remove outer straps, open the box, and inspect contents.
Arrangements are secured to an inner tray. Carefully remove tray and discard outer box.
Remove smaller items (like boutonnieres or corsages) first, handling everything gently.
Step 2: Hydrate
Boutonnieres & Corsages
Keep in water tubes. To refill:
Hold the tube and gently pull back the soft plastic cap.
Remove the cotton wrap, refill with water mixed with flower food, reseal.
Store in a refrigerator above 40°F, away from fruits and vegetables.
Bouquets (Bridal & Bridesmaid)
Prepare vases with 3–4 inches of cool water and flower food.
Remove wrapping, including sponge and plastic sleeve.
Place in vase ensuring water level stays below ribbon.
Do not refrigerate. Store in a cool, shaded area.
Pre-Arranged Centerpieces / Aisle Markers / Cake Flowers / Flower Crown
If the product arrives in a container or with a water source (such as foam), top off with water if needed.
Mist lightly if desired.
Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.
For DIY Items
(DIY Centerpieces, DIY Garlands, DIY Arch, Bulk Flower Packages)
Step 1: Process Immediately
Cut any straps and remove from the box.
Leave flowers in protective packaging for the first 4 hours of hydration.
Step 2: Prepare Buckets
Use clean containers filled with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water.
Add flower food if available.
Step 3: Trim and Hydrate
Remove foliage below the waterline.
Cut stems diagonally about 1 inch from the bottom using clean, sharp floral shears.
Place stems into water and allow to hydrate for 4–12 hours.
Keep in a cool, shaded space.

Storage Guidelines
Store all flowers in a cool, dry area (ideal temperature: 35°F–70°F).
Keep away from heat, direct sunlight, drafts, or freezing temps.
Bouquets and centerpieces should not be refrigerated.
Only corsages and boutonnieres should be stored in the refrigerator (above 40°F, away from produce).
