The groom, Ryan, has been best friends with the bride's brother since High School. As the younger sister, the bride, Jillian, secretly crushed on Ryan for years. While his deployment in the Air Force and her College studies led them down different paths, fate and flirting connected them once again 3 years ago. They were engaged the first day of spring, 2013 and shared their excited dreams of a beach wedding. Quickly, the vision expanded to a destination celebration in the FL Keys. A year and a half of planning culminated in a gorgeous wedding at a beautiful venue in Marathon, Fl. As Jillian said, "It all felt like a fairy tale come true". As every bride (and parent) knows, budgets demand creativity in assuring the venue, food, gown, music, dà ©cor, photos and flowers are absolutely perfect! While some costs are fixed, the florist's quote of over $4000 prompted the bride and me to pause. We saw the opportunity to save substantially by adopting a DIY approach to the flowers. Enter Fifty Flowers! The website was easy to navigate in selecting the colors and flowers desired and the "Chat" help advisors were invaluable in advising on amounts of blooms and delivery dates. We were absolutely thrilled with the flowers that were delivered on time and undamaged. With 2-3 hrs of prep time by my sister and I, the bridesmaids and planner were able to create bouquets and centerpieces that surpassed the couple's romantic vision of a shipwreck mermaid theme filled with candle light, driftwood, pearls, cream & ivory flowers, vintage silver and a touch of bling. The weather was stellar, the venue perfect, the food and music spectacular, the photographer gifted and the entire day, magical! To quote Jillian, "My favorite part was seeing my entire vision come true and celebrating with my closest friends and family!"
