Roses and Hydrangea and Eucalyptus...OH MY!

Let me start by saying I'm not a "DIY-er" by nature. There are professionals for a reason, right? However, one of my bridesmaids (who was getting married just 3 weeks before me) put the idea into my head that doing your own flowers for your wedding isn't that hard and can save a bunch of money. So after doing a bit of research I decided to head down the path of doing our own wedding flowers. And boy am I happy that I did! Not only did it save a lot of money, but it was SO MUCH FUN. It took 3 hours with my bridesmaids and an array of excited family members (mothers, aunts, sisters) to finish 15 centerpieces, 12 aisle vases, 5 bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages. We went out for a lovely lunch afterwards and it was a great bonding experience and they were so excited to have been part of our big day preparations. Not to mention the guys got into it as well. My groom, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law's husband all helped prep the flowers. In the end it was easy and I can't tell you just how great the flowers turned out. My advice to future brides: go for it! And after this, I'm a lifetime customer of Fifty Flowers. Their customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. They answered all of my questions, helped make the prep easy, and went above and beyond. We had a little hurricane come through in the days leading up to the wedding which made getting some of the flowers we ordered a logistics nightmare. However, Fifty Flowers called me, solved the issue quickly and we received all of our flowers on time and in perfect condition! Thanks, Fifty Flowers!
