Romantic Boho Love Story

Making these flowers arrangements was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. When I told people we were going to do it all ourselves every single person said, "uhh... what? Have you thought that through? Do you know how busy you'll be that week?" and the answer really came down to this - I wanted flowers this gorgeous and a florist just wasn't in the budget. It turned out that making the bouquets with two of my bridesmaids, my mom, and aunt was one of my favorite experiences and most beautiful parts of our entire wedding! My husband and one of our groomsmen made the boutonnieres together over a couple beers and also had a blast. None of us had any prior florist experience, I just threw a few Pinterest photos in a word doc and we went for it! The flowers each arrived separately (Protea, eucalyptus, and roses on Tuesday and Assorted White flowers on Wednesday) and I received a confirmation e-mail and text for each shipment. We followed the directions and put them in water and they were all perfectly in bloom for the Friday event. My wedding was actually 4 hours away from where we got the flowers delivered, and in May in NC I was worried about the heat, but everything turned out great. I had not originally planned on having centerpieces/flower arrangements on the bar, guestbook table, in front of the venue, or on the long dinner tables, but we had so many flowers left over that we made quite a few. I also used the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces. I cannot recommend FiftyFlowers enough :)
(Note that the flower chandelier has faux flowers from Michaels and the garland is from Costco.)
