Corey and I envisioned a perfect lakeside wedding and we were all about the budget. I made the bridesmaid bouquets out of silk flowers and had a professional florist make my bouquet. Everything else was purchased from FiftyFlowers! We ordered two packages and it was the perfect amount of flowers for our 75 person wedding.
Early that morning, I made boutonnieres and delivered them to the guys. The rest I couldn't have done it without the help of my aunt and friend! They worked all morning to make the centerpieces, aisle flower boxes and arbor decor. Everything was absolutely beautiful and ready to go...and then it rained. Rain is an understatement, it poured. Everything had to be moved indoors. Despite our lakeside wedding not going as planned, it was still absolutely perfect. The venue handled everything for us and transformed the indoor space from ceremony to reception like it was nothing.
We received countless compliments on the decor, the food, the location...everything was perfect! And, we were told time and time again, that rain is good luck.
