Our wedding was beautiful

Fifty Flowers was great. My daughter was married at the end of May, and we decided to save money by doing our own flowers. Since I have a large family with many willing hands, we took the plunge. It worked out great! I did some research online, and watched some video demonstrations on how to make hand tied bouquets; we made 12 of them including the bride's. We also made corsages, boutonnieres, and pew decorations. (We are a little bit of the artistic type and have done flowers before, years ago for my sister's wedding.) We had a rose theme going for the wedding, so we ordered 550 roses, not counting the rose petals and the spray roses we used for corsages. We chose Black Magic, Kiko, and Virginia Creamy White. I also researched rose varieties, and decided to go with only varieties that have 100% aperture. That means the rose opens fully. I had tried a different variety for my daughter's wedding shower, and even though they were pretty, I was disappointed when the roses didn't open fully. I am in love with Virginia Creamy White Roses. These roses were AMAZING. I can understand why they are a best seller. They were really big, and absolutely gorgeous, and they opened to a fantastic bloom. Of the three varieties we ordered, this one was a bit more delicate, even though it was a bigger bloom. The Virginia Creamy White roses opened about a day ahead of the other two varieties. If I had it to do again, I would order this variety to come in on Friday, rather than our Thursday delivery date prior to our Sunday wedding. I would still keep the delivery date for Thursday for the other two varieties.) All the roses looked as if they had been cut on the same day. The Black Magic red roses were the most fabulous red roses I have ever seen. Not only were they big and velvety, and hearty, but they just kept on looking great a whole week after the wedding! We liked the Kiko (hot pink) roses too. They were large and opened fully, like all the others. I have ordered twice from Fifty Flowers now, and both times they delivered right on schedule and we received a phone call from the company to make sure that the flowers had arrived. The flowers were very carefully packed with special care given to the heads of the flowers. There was no jiggle room in the boxes, and the flowers arrived in excellent condition. They were a little sleepy when they arrived, as we were instructed they would be. I did buy extra flower food for the water and made sure we trimmed the ends of each stem while the stem was submerged under water. It took a while to do all the trimming, but the roses perked right up and looked wonderful within a couple of hours. All in all, I strongly recommend Fifty Flowers. They were dependable, and the product was excellent. We were thrilled that we were able to have such a fantastic show of fabulous roses at our wedding, because the flowers were so affordable through Fifty Flowers!
