When Mike and I became engaged we decided on having our wedding in a rustic barn venue. My wedding gown was a lovely dusty lavender color. I wanted our wedding to have a vintage feel by using soft pastel roses. The roses I received were gorgeous and fit the look I wanted perfectly. The lavender roses were Ocean Song (I really was hoping to get that variety) the most beautiful true lavender color.
Our flower order was delayed due to hurricane Irma. The delivery was originally to be on a Wednesday but was pushed back to Thursday (still plenty of time to make arrangements for a Saturday wedding). Fifty Flowers contacted me a week prior to the wedding via email and text to inform me of the delay. Fortunately, my flowers did arrive on Thursday as promised and the FEDEX tracking put my mind at ease.
I saved hundreds of dollars by doing my own arrangements with the help of two wonderful friends. We made arrangements in floral foam wreaths that were used in birdcages for a romantic look. The roses opened perfectly on the day of our wedding. Our mid-September wedding day could not have been more perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The roses added the perfect touch of beauty and romance to our wedding.
