Laid Back Country Wedding

From the moment we got engaged, my husband and I knew two things: 1. we wanted that rustic theme that everyone was going for these days; 2. I did not want to spend a fortune on flowers. We got lucky our venue had such character that we did not need a lot of decor or flowers. I was ready and willing to tackle the job of making the bouquets, centerpieces, and other small decorations for the reception tables and bar areas. Fifty Flowers was so easy to work with and it helped that they had some sample flower combinations that I could use as a starting reference to to get the look we wanted. Everything was received as expected and the instructions were easy to follow to make sure they lasted until our big day. The morning of while everyone was rushing around, I was able to put together my bouquet and my 7 bridesmaid bouquets to help take my mind off of things. Everyone thought I was crazy, but after about an hour, the bouquets turned out better than expected and everyone was in shock that I had made those. I finished off the bouquets with some ivory lace to cover up the floral tape and some twine so everything stayed put. Using the same approach, we were able to distribute the remaining flowers that we had left for the centerpieces (which were handmade boxes from barn wood and mason jars), bar table centerpieces that were smaller mason jar and milk jars, and our old barn door placecard holder. The vibrant flowers were just the pop of color that went so well with our apple orchard venue. I cannot express how happy we are at how amazing things the day turned out, and even better that we did not have to break the bank to do it. If I had to choose again, I would choose Fifty Flowers again and again.
