June Mountain Wedding

Seth and I were married on the most gorgeous June day in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. Because our venue was so spectacular on its own, I just wanted simple flowers in shades of white and cream with tons of greenery. I received the main shipment on the Wednesday before the wedding, prepped and transported the flowers to the venue. On Friday, my awesome cousins threw a bridal brunch and helped me assemble the centerpieces and bouquets. We had SO many flowers! We made ten centerpieces for the dinner tables, plus arrangements for the guestbook/card table, bar, cake table, and buffet; my bouquet and four bridesmaids' bouquets; groom's boutonniere; and decorative sprays for the aisle and seating chart. (In addition to the flowers listed above, I also ordered a Whimsical Garden Rose Sample Pack.) My vision was for a soft, slightly wild look that was modern and not rustic. We really needed to stick to a strict budget, and I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get the look I wanted in my price range. Working with Violet and Fifty Flowers to do this myself was by far the best decision I made, and I got exactly what I wanted for less than half the price I was quoted by professionals in the area. I absolutely loved how everything turned out, and I couldn't believe how many arrangements we were able to make.
