In the scheme of things that could go wrong in a wedding, ours was big - one week before, we discovered my husband had some visa issues and he ended up arriving the day of, just in time for our first look. I had a million things to worry about, but thankfully, flowers weren't one of them. Everything we bought was fresh, beautiful and perfect! (Full disclosure, I work for FiftyFlowers; but this also gave me the knowledge that I knew my flowers would be high quality and look amazing). I knew I wanted a mixture of flowers in a traditional fall color scheme, and to stay in my budget, but also that I'm too much of a perfectionist to do it myself. I was able to hash out some ideas with Violet, and FiftyFlowers gave us the opportunity to reduce cost by ordering our own flowers, and use the rest of our flower budget on a professional florist. We hired Evolutions in Designs, a great florist in my hometown who did a beautiful job with the flowers we provided. It's a great option for those who want some DYI but don't trust themselves to do everything.
