When I first started planning our wedding one of the most important things to me was the flowers. In my opinion the flowers can either make or break a wedding, looks and money wise. I knew I wanted colorful lush flowers but I was afraid of breaking the bank. I met with two different florists and discussed my vision, but the quotes were way over budget. My mother, bridesmaids and I all had a blast putting my flowers together and the best part was that it was really easy. It was a great bonding experience. My favorite part was that my mum and I got to make my bridal bouquet which made it that more special. I was very happy with the outcome. I got so many complements on all my flowers and when I told them that we did it diy they were so surprised! It really was an awarding experience.
