We picked our venue and date and then I knew I had a very specific floral vision. I played with making my own arrangements for fun to see if it was something I'd want to take on DIYing for the wedding and I'm sure glad I did. With months and months of practice, turning into a hobby, turning into a business, I got really into it. I launched my floral design business The Pastoral Posy about a month after doing my own florals for my own Colorado wedding.
Fifty Flowers was great to work with and I feel overall very satisfied. In total, I made my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 10 boutonnieres, a dozen or so aisle runner jars, a pair of altar arrangements, 9 centerpieces, a welcome arrangement, a smaller cake table arrangement and a few other smaller bud vases. The vision was "Vintage Backyard Garden Party" which I feel was true to my own style and suited the venue so naturally... it really was a dream come true!
