Bulk flowers are shipped directly from our farms to your doorstep. Before shipping your flowers, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. If your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey, it is absolutely NORMAL. Just follow these simple steps to ensure your flowers have the proper care.

  1. When your boxes arrive, it is important to get your flowers in water as quickly as possible. Open your boxes and remove any protective packaging, such as foam or paper.

  2. Inspect your flowers.*

  3. Gather buckets or containers for your flowers. Ensure your buckets or containers are very clean. We recommend rinsing them with warm water.

  4. Fill the buckets or containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water. If flower food is available, follow the package directions for adding it to the water.

  5. Cut away any straps securing the flowers to the box and remove your flowers. Remove any rubber bands or plastic sleeves securing flower bunches together.

  6. Remove any foilage that would fall below the water line. Leaves below the waterline may mold and rot, causing bacteria to form, shortening the life of your flowers.

  7. Using sharp flower shears or scissors, cut stems diagonally under cool running water. Cut about an inch off of each stem.

  8. Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.

  9. Continue this process until all of your flowers are in water. Do not overcrowd your containers. Overcrowding may damage stems and blooms and effect the proper blooming.

  10. Allow flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate, flowers may take up to 12 hours to properly hydrate. Periodically check the water levels, flowers drink a lot of water when they first arrive and the water may need to be refilled.

  11. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or extreme temperatures. Flowers should be stored in a cool, dry area until ready to use.

  12. Change water every 24 hours to keep flowers fresh.

*If upon first inspection, you foresee a problem with your flowers, do not proceed processing your order. Leave the flowers intact in the box and call us immediately at 1-877-50 ROSES (507-6737)

Each flower within your mixed box may have specific care instructions in addition to what is listed above. For further information, please visit the individual product page for each flower in your pack. For example, if you selected White Hydrangeas, please click on All Flowers, then click on Hydrangeas, and locate the White Hydrangea.

Sweetwater Valentine's Flower Collection

Not as advertised.

My fiance ordered these flowers for Valentine's Day and I am very dissatisfied when I open them today and definitely will not be reordering these what you see is not what you get flowers from this company. He didn't realize I had a preference for the galentines bouquet because I'm partial to pink and wanted to play with more greenery to make a fun arrangement, however the valentines bouquet came with pink rose, spray roses and tons of them! The product details advertises two types of roses and the photos shows purple roses. We received one type of roses, all small roses no large roses and they are pink which I'm pleased with although someone else would not be because they would likely think they were getting purple roses as the photo shows. The alstroemeria is all white. The product description advertises multiple different flowers types and colors and I received three different colors and three different flowers! I'm going to make a sorry rose and alstroemeria bouquet iffff I can love the alstroneria back to life because multiple stems appear frozen and are extremely damaged past the point of reviving. The purple mum species flower is not cohesive with the the white and bright pink flowers I have received. They would have been if the roses I received were purple and or if I had both pink and purple alstroemeria which I do not.
