• Your package of Sunflowers may contain flowers with black, green or a mix of black and green centers. 
• Sunflowers are shipped in 5 or 10 stem bunches bundled together by a rubber band and are individually wrapped. 
• Average stem length is a minimum of 60cm/24 inches. 
• Stems may not always be perfectly straight. 
• The diameter of the inner circle of the large sunflower averages 2-3 inch across. 
• The diameter of the entire head averages 4-5 inches across. 
• Flowers are from our Ecuadorian or Californian partner flower farms. 
• Each stem has one flower 
• Expected vase life is a minimum of 10 days. 
• These flowers are easy to design and require no special preparatory work. 
• Sunflower meaning is power, warmth, nourishment. 
• Your flowers will arrive looking thirsty and sleepy. This is absolutely NORMAL. Please refer to our flower care section for a more descriptive process on how to care for and handle your Sunflowers. 
• Due to variation in monitor resolutions, the exact colors of this flower may vary to some degree.

Bulk Sunflowers were shipped directly from our farms. Before shipping your flowers, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. If your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey, it is absolutely NORMAL. Just follow these simple steps and the flowers will bloom delightfully. 

1. Remove flowers from box by cutting any straps. Remove any plastic or paper packaging from each bunch of flowers. 
2. Fill containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water. 
3. Cut stems diagonally approximately at least and inch from bottom under running water with sharp scissors or knife. 
4. Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.
 5. Allow flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate well. 
6. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. 
7. Change water every 24 hours to keep flowers fresh. Assure that your flowers have sufficient water. The flowers will drink an exceptionally large amount of water upon arrival. 

Please note, Sunflowers follow the sun and may not have a perfectly straight stem. So please take this in account of when arranging your bulk flowers.
