• The average number of flowers per stem varies with stem length. On average each stem will have 4 to 8 blooms. 
• This dyed orchid is dyed upon a base of a purple flower so the flowers will have hues of purple with bright blue.  If you want a lighter blue and/or a truer blue, please order the other dyed blue orchid which is dyed upon a pure white flower.

Bulk orchids were shipped directly from our partner flower farms. Before shipping your flowers, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. Just follow these simple steps: 

1. Remove flowers from box, and if they arrive with water tubes, simply prop them upright in the water tubes that they arrive in. There is no immediate need to cut and put them in water. When you are ready to make your arrangements, then move onto step 2. 
2. If your orchids did not arrive in water tubes, fill a container with fresh, cool water to the desired level. 
3. Cut stems diagonally approximately one inch from bottom under running water with sharp scissors or knife. 
4. Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared container. 
5. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. 
6. Remove any dying flowers daily from the bottom up. 
6. Every 2 to 3 days, be sure to re-cut the stems repeating the steps above to maximize the life and beauty of your flowers. 

Orchids are shipped in full bloom. There is no need to receive the flowers many days in advance for opening the flower. If you like, you can leave your flowers standing upright with the stems in water in the water tubes until you are ready to design the flowers. Orchids do not like refrigeration and may damage them. Optimal temperature for your orchids is 18C or 65F. Anything cooler than this could potential be harmful and damage the flowers.

For your Wedding or Special Event, we recommend that you arrange to have your Dendrobium Orchids delivered 2 days before the actual event. For a Saturday wedding your flowers should be delivered on the Thursday before the wedding. 

• FiftyFlowers uses FedEx for overnight delivery service. All deliveries should arrive by 5pm on your chosen delivery date and your flowers will most likely be delivered before 10:30am. Delivery time depends on service available to your address. Please contact FedEx and ask them the guaranteed delivery time for the specified delivery zip code. 
• Deliveries are available Tuesday through Friday. 
• The day before your selected delivery date, you will receive an automatically generated tracking number which you can use to track your package online at www.FedEx.com. 
• In order to ensure proper flower delivery, FedEx might require signature at time of delivery. Please arrange to have somebody home to ensure proper delivery. If you miss your delivery, please contact FedEx at 1.800-GO-FEDEX directly with your tracking number to reschedule delivery. 
• Each order must have a valid and working telephone number. FedEx will not accept any orders without a working telephone number. 
• Please review your shipping address carefully. If you provide the wrong shipping address, we are not responsible for any problems that may result. Any shipping redirects or changes will incur a $10 fee and changes may not be feasible as the delivery date approaches, especially once the shipping tracking number has been assigned. 
• FiftyFlowers.com is not responsible for packages that are received before or after the specified delivery date, are lost, stolen or damaged once in the hands of the carrier. In the event that there is a delay with your package, please contact FedEx directly.
